The London Street Photography Festival is organized by a group of passionate photographers who believe in the power of street photography to capture the human experience. The festival is run by a team of volunteers, and all proceeds go towards supporting the festival and its activities. Organized by Russian-speaking residents of London: photographer Dmitry Stepanenko and journalist Maria Timokhova.
The festival’s main goals are to showcase the best street photography from around the world and to provide a platform for photographers to connect with each other.
In addition to the competition, the festival will also feature a number of workshops, exhibitions, and talks. These events will be led by some of the most respected names in street photography, including Alex Webb, Bruce Gilden, and Martha Cooper.
Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just getting started in street photography, the London Street Photography Festival is sure to be a great event! Be sure to purchase your tickets early.
The London Street Photography Festival is open to photographers of all levels from all over the world. In previous years, the festival has featured photographers from countries such as the United States, Canada, Australia, and Japan. This year’s festival promises to be even bigger and better, with participants coming from all corners of the globe. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just getting started in street photography, this is an event not to be missed!
As a refresher, we are currently running a ZIMA PHOTO competition. The topic is “The World After Quarantine.” Send us your photographs that depict everyday life in quarantine and how your relationship to yourself (family, partner) has altered, how someone who suddenly loses access to society’s amenities worries about his health and the health of his loved ones.
Only two formal restrictions exist; one is the age limit, which we want to encourage young photographers (under 35 years old); the other is geography: we are seeking for talent based in the UK.
The location of your photo project might be anything; from a lockdown in London to international volunteer efforts.
And the winners of The London Street Photography Festival 2020 are…
Congratulations to all of the winners! We can’t wait to see your amazing work!
